The goal of this organization is to support graduate students who are working towards either their Masters of Arts in Applied Sociology or their Graduate Certificates in the Non-Profit Sector. We aim to do this by creating a supportive environment for graduate students that promotes scholarship and by providing students with opportunities to network with their peers. Students will be encouraged to connect with the students in the program on a personal and professional level. It is our hope that students will view this organization as a social group and as a group that inspires students to think critically and constructively about topics in the field of Sociology. We welcome students to use this group to improve their graduate experiences and prepare themselves for careers in their field by learning about the opportunities available and encouraging collaboration with their peers, professors, and community.
