FULBRIGHT INFORMATION SESSION

Come learn about the Fulbright Program

Have you ever thought about living abroad for a year after you graduate? Are you interested in teaching English? Doing independent research? Enrolling in graduate school? Then come hear about the FULBRIGHT PROGRAM!

This information session is open to all students, undergraduates and graduates, and is being sponsored by HAPPCOM & ANTH Club. The session will be led by Dr. Souders who coaches UMBC students through (our very successful!) Fulbright application process.

Each April, SAHAP has invited Dr. Souders to come speak to our students to help them learn about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the opportunities it can offer new UMBC graduates, as well as ways to get started with the application process -- and this year is no different! Except, well, except for a lot of things -- like we will be hosting this online through WebEx.

As Dr. Souders, UMBC's Fulbright Program Advisor, writes, "UMBC has a strong tradition of having its academically strong, globally minded students apply for the Fulbright U.S Student Program in order to conduct research, teach English, or earn a Master's degree overseas after graduation. Last year, UMBC was named a Top Producing Fulbright Institution, with thirteen students and recent alumni receiving this prestigious award." The Sociology, Anthropology, and Health Administration and Policy Department looks forward to working with you to join their ranks!

So join us! Just click on  https://umbc.webex.com/meet/bchapin to join our WebEx meeting. And if you have a minute before then or want more information but can't join us, fill out your information here: Wednesday, April 8 at 12:00 pm -- and please feel free to contact Dr. Souders at<fulbright@umbc.edu> if you have any questions.
