COURSE DESCRIPTION and PURPOSE
A survey of American social problems designed for the general student. Topics include race and ethnic conflict, crime and delinquency, and inequality. Online discussions and activities will help students grasp the nature and source of social problems to gain a better understanding of possible solutions. The purpose of this course is to provide a sociological understanding of social problems.
